New Champion of PAIN!

Butch has recently been dethroned by a new champ. The Trinidad Scorpion "Butch T" will rest easy knowing his crown is now held by another Scorpion. The Moruga Scorpion, to be exact. Ah, such a proud pain inducing family. The new variety boasts a 1.2 million SHU rating, with some plants reported around 2 million! This new pepper is bound to take over the industry as the worlds absolute hottest pepper. The Butch T., has now lost it's novelty, and if I'm in the market for the hottest sauces, the second hottest just doesn't fit that category anymore. Don't get me wrong, The Butch T. will always have it's place. However I expect that old best sellers as far as hot sauces go, will be replaced be newer ones that can list the Moruga in it's ingredients.  Be among the first few to try the new strain. The Trinidad Moruga Scorpion will be growing in my back yard soon enough:)

Ok, stick with me guys. I've never ventured this far into blogging with such gusto. To tell the truth, I've never ventured this far into blogging. So here begins my journey.

 I LOVE peppers. I love them to such an insane extent, that I've decided to grow, and eat the worlds hottest peppers. Now I know that this is no small feat. But I live in Texas. i live in the HEART of Texas. I am a Texan by any definition, so go big, or go home right? I want to take you on my adventures from finding the seeds/plants all the way through eating them, and finding my favorites. There will certainly be more to come folks, don't worry. Subscribe if you want to see what comes of this. After all, it could be hilarious:) But first, DUN Dun dun,.... I have to figure out how to be a blogger. Wish me luck!
